Madrid, January 7 .- Mexican federal authorities have granted Spanish company Lleida.net a new patent for its method of registration and certification of emails reception.

This patent, granted by the Mexican Institute of Intellectual Property (IMPI, by its acronym in Spanish), has a validity of 20 years.

This is the first patent on methods of certification and notification, as well as digital witness, to be granted to Lleida.net by the Mexica Government.

The IT company, which is listed on the Alternative Stock Market (MAB) in Madrid and on the Euronext Growth stock market in Paris, has been granted more than 75 patents worldwide.

These concessions have become the cornerstone of its internationalization strategy.

Currently, the corporation digital witness services cover a potential market of 2,900 million people.

The company has received concession of more than 75 patents in five continents.

Among them the United States, the European Union, Colombia, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, South Africa and the Gulf Cooperation Council.

More than 70 countries recognize the legal validity of electronic methods as a way to certify legal notifications in hiring processes.

"The e-signature market will be a market of 9,000 million euros in the four years worldwide, and our strategic approach will involve continuing to work in a consistent manner in that direction now," said Sisco Sapena, CEO of the company.

The shares of Lleida.net closed the first trading week of the year with a historical maximum price of 1.25 euros on Euronext and a value of 0.93 euros on the MAB.
